TGIF California Club Recipe -- By Amy Bousman, FNTP

Our last day of our nutrient dense school lunch ends with a California Club. This recipe is by far one of my favorites especially paired with the ranch recipe from Wednesday. Find the recipe below.


Ingredients ● 1 avocado, sliced

● 1 pint cherry tomatoes, sliced in half

● 1 cucumber, sliced

● 1 large (or two small) head red romaine lettuce, torn into pieces or 8c mixed

salad greens

● 1⁄2 turkey breast, roasted & sliced thin

● 8 slices Paleo bacon, baked and crumbled

● 1 recipe Paleo Ranch dressing

● Coconut flour wraps, romaine leaves, lightly steamed collard leaves or

wraps of choice.

Preparation Arrange salad ingredients as such with each serving getting 1/4th of each:

lettuce, turkey, tomatoes, cucumbers, avocado, bacon. Give a healthy drizzle of

the Ranch dressing.
