Sometimes we let other people diminish what's important to us. We let what "they" say and think about us - their disapproval and discouraging words - keep us from who we're meant to be and what we're meant to do.


But the truth is, each of us is pure potential, and we're destined to make a contribution. Yes, when criticism comes from people we love, it hurts. But what ultimately hurts us more is living timidly to avoid "feedback".


What matters the most is when we contemplate:

  • Did I do my best?

  • Did I share my abilities with the world?

  • Did I choose what's right over what's scary?

  • Am I really living?

  • Am I making my life count?

If you answer yes to one or more of these, there's a good chance some people won't like it. And that's okay. We all can handle a little discomfort. Your life and passion are bigger than that.
